The Story Behind

Beast Attire

Behind every successful project is a great idea, and behind every great idea is an innovative creator. In the case of Beast Attire, this creator is Scott Grossman, former musician and current founder/owner of Beast Attire LLC. After playing shows up and down the east coast early on in his music career, Scott decided to try his hand at other positions in the music industry, including show production, show promotion, tour management, and tour production.  Still feeling as if his creative potential was not fully exposed, Scott decided to develop into the clothing business and established Beast Attire on January 2, 2008.

With six t-shirt designs in mind and a few local New Jersey bands to sponsor, Scott initiated the metamorphosis of his dream into a reality. Having only been in existence for just over a year, Beast Attire had a few accomplishments to boast about.

Beast Attire was at The Bamboozle Festival in both 2008 and 2009, and the company sponsored tours such as “The Beast on The Run Tour,” “The off Ramps and Gypsies Camp Tour” alongside Absolutepunk.net, as well as the “Brod Trip ‘09 Tour” alongside Purevolume.com, but that is only the beginning. Scott and Beast Attire were also at Jersey Stock, the Welcome to Nyack Festival, the Get Heard Fest, and the Park Rock Fest, in 2008, where the company will have a stage this year. However, despite each of those accomplishments, Beast Attire had something even bigger under their ever-expanding belt. In celebration of the establishment’s one-year anniversary, they held one of New Jersey’s largest hall shows to date from January 2nd - 4th of this year. Starting of the new year on the right note, the weekend included 65 bands and over 1,700 people in support of a clothing company they have come to know and love.

With such great triumphs in the past, it is given that the Beast crew has tremendous plans for the future.  Because they are working with more well known acts to sponsor and frequently putting out fresh new designs, there will soon be no escaping this name and these clothing items in the near future. Keep an eye out for Beast Attire on this year’s Warped Tour from July 7th-22nd, and at Park Rock Fest in Great Mills, MD, and soon in television and magazine advertisements everywhere. With so many indie clothing companies popping up in the music scene, it’s hard to stand out. But, Beast Attire is not so much a clothing company as it is a family of hardworking individuals, striving to achieve their goals and put forth quality clothing worth purchasing.
